This game was created as an Indie Speed Run, a 48 hour game jam. My theme was "captivity" and my random element was "hippopotamus". I decided to play with the idea of being a captive of the game / level design. I also thought it would be funny to have a tutorial gui that was like a friend talking out of his ass. He gets some things right, but others wrong. You can choose to believe or disbelieve it, but your choice is usually moot. The level design anticipates your every move.

Follow the link to play the game, you'll need the Unity web plugin.
Stay is a physics game for iOS. The object of the game is to keep the red item on the balance beam. It's pretty fast and you inevitably fail. The longer you last, the more intense things get.

I'm currently working on a complete overhaul of this game.
The Color Grey is a twin stick shooter with a color mixing and matching mechanic.

I naively pitched this concept to Sony in, like, 2008. They basically laughed because I didn't have much experience and, more importantly, no money. Then I decided at some point to put together a demo so I could maybe get some funding to work on games full time...

It's currently in purgatory, but I may finish it up some day.
Clover is a productivity app to help parents log and keep track of various daily events. The app is designed to be very flexible and customizable so that parents can tailor the app to their specific needs.

I started building this for my wife, then it became apparent that she wouldn't need it.

It's worth noting that everything seen, including all the icons and illustrative shapes are drawn natively using Core Graphics. Resolution independence is an increasingly important part of future proofing an app.
I have a BFA in Graphic Design and worked a lot with flash for a number of years. This is an outdated portfolio built in flash.
my name is pete

Diamond Dust is a moniker I use because googling "Pete Anderson" will get you some butt-ass musicians and a realtor. I used to use Anthropophagy, but then I was tired of explaining the meaning (and getting confused grimaces, followed by further explanation).

This site is for my personal work, which I only currently do in my spare time.
